They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this cutie flanked by smelly socks grew up to be?
Star Of The Soaps
Obviously, this young woman (now all grown up) is either an alum of a long-ago classic – like One Life to Live – or she is currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.
So try these on for size. She is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She modeled in Japan. A commercial served as her first professional acting job. She appeared in the MTV series Undressed. She shared the screen with Brooke Shields in her feature film debut. She is a favorite of the Lifetime network. And she has appeared in web-exclusive serials.
But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker, DAYS), Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones, GH), Jessica Morris (ex-Jennifer Rappaport, OLTL), or Lauren Woodland (ex-Britany Hodges, YR)?
Arianne Zucker
Zucker modeled in Japan, appeared in several TV commercials and Lifetime movies, and she even had a starring role in the web serial DeVanity. However, she was born and raised in Northridge, California, and her first feature-length film – The Last Resort (2009) – didn’t include Brooke Shields as a cast member. So Zucker isn’t today’s featured star.
Kirsten Storms
Storms does indeed hail from the Sunshine State and her first professional gig came courtesy of a TV commercial. And she even starred in a fantasy web serial titled Winterthorne. But her hometown is Orlando and she has neither worked with Brooke Shields nor has she appeared in a movie made for the Lifetime network. So she isn’t the answer to today’s identity query.
Lauren Woodland
And neither is Woodland. Though her first acting role was a commercial – and despite the fact that she appeared in the series Undressed – Woodland never worked opposite Brooke Shields and she has yet to appear in a web-exclusive series.
Jessica Morris
Morris relocated from Jacksonville, Florida, to Japan when she was 16 years old in order to pursue a career in modeling. Thanks to roles in commercials, she decided to concentrate her efforts on the performing arts world.
She made her TV and film debuts in City Guys (2000) and The Weekend (1999) respectively. The latter featured an all-star cast which included Gena Rowlands and Brooke Shields.
Morris’s subsequent credits included a starring part in Undressed (2001), a four-year stint on OLTL, and multiple Lifetime movies including The Wrong Man (2017), The Wrong Student (2017), The Wrong Teacher (2018), The Wrong Mommy (2019), and Poolboy Nightmare (2020).
Morris also had a lead role in Ladies of the Lake (2016) and Ladies of the Lake: Return to Avalon (2018), as well as Beacon Hill (2014; 2020) – all web-exclusive serials.
So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Jessica Morris, then you were absolutely correct!
