What soap operas do you watch?
I watch General Hospital but also used to watch All My Children and Another World and Dark Shadows.
How did you start watching Soaps?
I moved to an area where we only had antenna and only got two channels, but that was long ago. Ever since then, I’ve watched those soaps I mentioned. Interestingly, I got my sister to start watching General Hospital so we are able to talk about it every day!
What do you love about Soap Operas?
I love to see what stories are developing. I also like the people who play the characters and love to see how much they grow.
Have you attended the Soap Hub Fireside chats with soap star?
Yes, I have attended a couple of them and I love how we can not only ask them questions but we learn about them as a person.
What would you like to share with other Insiders?
First and foremost, I am a loyal fan to the soaps I watch and get very disappointed when a longtime character leaves for whatever reason. I have pretty much grown up watching the soaps and I find that now, especially with COVID, how they are a great escape. So I guess I want people to remember me as a true diehard fan and love the new opportunities Soap Hub is giving us to meet these people from our homes via zoom.
