Thanks to a tweet from Alyssa Milano, Hollywood starlets and A-listers to everyday women and, yes, your favorite soap stars, it’s easy to see that millions of women have put up with unwanted advancements and even assault for far too long.
What happens feels like a societal norm for women, but by speaking out, women are fighting back.
Yesterday, Linsey Godfrey told her harrowing story of sexual abuse as a child and teen, and other soap actress have used the Me Too hashtag to tell a story, or just say those two words to make all women feel they are not alone.
