Soap Star Adrienne Frantz Suffers Freak Accident On Movie Set!

A former soap star is taking an injury she suffered on set to court, claiming this one incident led to a host of other physical ailments.

Adrienne Frantz, who played Amber Moore on both The Young and the Restless (YR) and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), has filed a lawsuit against the Ontario-based film production company, NB Thrilling Films 4 Inc., for negligence in a bizarre incident.

The actress, who won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress back in 2001, claims that the dog belonging to the company’s makeup artist, who wasn’t even in the scene she was shooting, bit her while filming a love scene according to an article on MSN.

The dog, Bentley, a Boston Terrier, wasn’t a professional dog actor but was being used in the movie — just not in that scene.

Frantz was also three months pregnant at the time and didn’t want to get a tetanus shot because of the risk. She sadly still lost the baby less than two weeks later.

This happened while she was shooting the film The Perfect Girlfriend back in 2014. The production company concedes that an incident happened, but they contend that recent pictures show no lasting damage or skin imperfections to her cheek.

The article also says the actress, “endured other physical and emotional fallout, including post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression and Graves’ disease, a thyroid-related condition that can sometimes be triggered by stressful events.”

The company also claims that dogs by nature are unpredictable and by accepting the role in the film, she was accepting those risks.

The movie aired on Lifetime in July, 2016.
