The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, August 3 reveal that Chelsea is worried about Nick, while Nick is worried about Nikki. Abby also worries about Victor, who tells her not to be — everything is going according to plan.
Oh, Mother
Based on the stunt he pulled the night of her concert, it’s pretty clear that Nick (Joshua Morrow) thinks he knows what’s best for his mother.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), for her part, thinks her life should be up to her. Nikki is done letting men define who she is and who she should be. She is ready to be a strong, independent woman.
Nick wonders how she intends to do that? Oh, by making a beeline straight for Jack (Peter Bergman). She’s heading back up to his cabin and, who knows, this time the night might not be nearly as platonic as it was the last time.

Oh, Brother
While Nick worries about his mother, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) turns to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to admit that Chelsea is worried about Vicky’s brother. Nick’s obviously had a lot on his mind lately, and he’s acting weird.
He’s got the percolating business deal with Noah (Robert Adamson), plus Victor’s annual disowning. And that’s all even before the inevitable outing of Nick not being Christian’s father.
No wonder Chelsea is worried. But as Victoria made clear to Abby, she’s got troubles of her own.
