A soap opera star was arrested for a horrifying road rage incident. A heated situation on the road led to a physical altercation that left one man dead, and a soap star arrested on battery charges.
According to ABC News, Mexican soap star Pablo Lyle, who appears on the telenovela Mi Adorable Maldición, was arrested on April 1 (no, not an April Fool’s joke) for punching a man in Miami during an alleged road rage incident as he traveled with his family to the airport.
Lyle’s car allegedly cut off another car while driving towards Miami International Airport. The other man, identified as Juan Ricardo Hernandez, got out of the car and banged on Lyle’s window and witnesses say a ruckus ensued when Lyle punched the man, who was then knocked unconscious and fell.
It was the fall and not the punch that fractured the right side of the 63-year-old man’s skull and he died Thursday night in a Miami hospital.
Lyle confessed to the police that he did indeed punch the man because he thought his family was in danger. He was charged with battery, released on $5,000 bail and permitted to return to Mexico. Police are now investigating the incident as a possible murder.
