The Week of August 25, 2025

Find out if any of your favorite actors and actresses from yesteryear are returning to the shows you watch, if any newcomers have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, or if any popular performers are about to make their exit.

General Hospital Casting

On the heels of Kelly Thiebaud’s return as “the late” Britt Westbourne, there could be another resurrection on GH. Ryan Paevey, who played Nathan West from 2013 until he was killed off in 2018, is heading back to the soap. However, the show hasn’t revealed if he’ll be playing Nathan or a new character. Paevey has already begun filming and is scheduled to begin airing in September.

Cecily Elliott has taken over the role of Greta, a significant player in The Five Poppies mystery. She appeared in scenes opposite Steve Burton’s Jason last week. The character was originally played by Carolyne Maraghi.

Michael Knight returns as Martin Grey. On Monday, August 25, the attorney will interact with Genie Francis’ Laura.

Vernee Watson continues to get more airtime as Stella Henry. Look for the character to share her fears on Friday, August 29.

Days of our Lives Casting

Stacy Haiduk fans need not worry about her status at DAYS. Despite the fact that her character, Kristen, confessed to shooting EJ (Dan Feurriegel) and was arrested, the actress isn’t leaving. She’ll continue to be prominently featured as the complex storyline unfolds.

Alice Halsey continues to take center stage as Rachel Black, the character who was recently revealed as EJ’s (Dan Feurriegel) shooter. She interacts with Deidre Hall’s Marlena on Monday, August 25, and shares scenes with Eric Martsolf’s Brady, Leo Howard’s Tate, and Linsey Godfrey’s Sarah on Wednesday, August 27.

With Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) trial having come to an end, a few actors have left the soap. Timothy Hornor has wrapped his stint as Adam, Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) juror roommate. In addition, Karole Foreman has completed her run as Judge Dabne, and David Jite is out as the court bailiff.

The Young and the Restless Casting

After a lengthy absence, it appears that Redding Munsell will soon be resurfacing as Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) son, Harrison Abbott, on Y&R. The character has been off the canvas since he left town to visit his mother, Summer, in Italy, when actress Allison Lanier opted to exit the soap last May. Munsell’s first official order of business was attending the Y&R fan club event on August 16. During his absence, the young actor was busy with another project, filming the movie At the Sea.

Mishael Morgan gets more screen time as Amanda Sinclair. The attorney, who was last seen at Cane’s (Billy Flynn) compound in Nice, resurfaces in Genoa City for a new assignment on Friday, August 29.

The Bold and the Beautiful Casting

The Forrester Creations interns have been getting lots of airtime on B&B. In fact, a few of them recently turned out for  Will’s (Crew Morrow) party at Il Giardino. Jade Coatsworth has been portraying Kingsley; Jasmine Dampier has been playing Toni;and Heidi Grace Engerman has been appearing as Lainey.

Also, Logan Roe has been popping in as Tara. She’s another employee at the Forrester fashion house.
