The Bold and the Beautiful Casting

Trouble is brewing at B&B, especially for newlyweds Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton). Matthew Atkinson is set to reprise his role as Thomas Forrester, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) hell-raising son, on Thursday, December 18. Atkinson, who last appeared on the soap in September, will immediately be thrust into the thick of things. He’ll share scenes with Kaye, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s Steffy and others. 

Days of our Lives Casting

Dan Gauthier debuts as DAYS’ new Peter Blake on Friday, December 19. Here’s a crash course on Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) duplicitous brother. The role was previously played by Jason Brooks from 1993 to 1998. Gauthier is best known to soap fans for his work on  One Life to Live where he portrayed Kevin Buchanan from 2003 to 2010.

Stacy Haiduk pops in as EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) mother, Susan Banks. She shares scenes opposite Emily O’Brien’s Gwen and Elia Cantu’s Jada on Monday, December 15.

Alice Halsey returns as Rachel Black. She interacts with Eric Martsolf’s Brady and Leo Howard’s Tate on Wednesday, December 17 .

Hank Northrop is back as Liam Selejko, Abe’s (James Reynolds) literacy mentee. The actor has a special connection to DAYS. He bonds with Michael Roark’s Jeremy on Thursday, December 18.

Cary Christopher gets more screen time as Thomas DiMera. He shares poignant scenes with his onscreen grandmother, Melissa Reeves’ Jennifer, on Thursday, December 18.

Maggie Carney returns as EJ’s secretary, Rita. She airs on Tuesday, December 16 opposite O’Brien’s Gwen, Galen Gering’s Rafe and Greg Rikaart’s Leo.

The Young and the Restless Casting

Roger Howarth gets more airtime as Mitch Bacall/Matt Clark on Y&R. The villainous character, who’s made his way to Genoa City, plots more trouble against the Newmans this week. Here’s the lowdown on Howarth, best known to daytime audiences for his portrayal of Todd Manning on One Life to Live.

Catherine Kresge is back as Annie Stewart. The crooked Los Angeles detective assigned to investigate Noah’s (Lucas Adams) car crash shares scenes with Howarth’s Mitch/Matt.  

Melissa Ordway returns as Abby Newman Winters. The character attends the Abbott Communications launch party with her onscreen husband, Bryton James’ Devon.  Ordway recently gave viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of winter on the soap.

Cait Fairbanks is back on the scene as Tessa Porter too. She interacts with Michael Graziadei’s Daniel, Michelle Stafford’s Phyllis, and others at the above-mentioned party.  

General Hospital Casting

After a short break, Jane Elliot returns to GH as Tracy Quartermaine. She shares scenes with her TV son, Wally Kurth’s Ned. Check out some fun facts about the Emmy-winning daytime legend.

James Patrick Stuart continues his stint as Valentin Cassadine. The character reappears on Monday, December 15 and throughout the week. 

Chris McKenna is back as Jack Brennan. The WSB bigwig interacts with Eden McCoy’s Josslyn on Monday, December 15, and confides in Laura Wright’s Carly on Thursday, December 18. 

Nazneen Contractor returns as Justine Turner. The PC assistant district attorney meets with Maurice Benard’s Sonny and Rick Hearst’s Ric on Monday, on December 15.

On the teen front, Finn Carr pops in as Rocco Falconeri. The character issues an ultimatum to his TV dad, Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante, on Tuesday, December 16. 

Also, Bluesy Burke is back as Charlotte Cassadine. She makes a confession on Tuesday, December 16. The daytime newbie has an interesting background.
