Days of our Lives Casting
A DAYS character that hasn’t appeared in 16 years is back on the canvas. Wes Ramsey is back as Owen Kent, the culprit who’s holding Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Jeremy (Michael Roark) hostage and who previously kidnapped Stephanie in 2009. Look for Owen, who debuted last Friday, to appear prominently this week. The stint is short-term. Ramsey is also known for his portrayal of villain Peter August on General Hospital. He spoke out about dark characters being the most fun to play.
Richard Wharton gets more airtime as Dr. Wilhelm Rolf. The scientist appears on Monday, March 2, in scenes with Ramsey’s Owen. He also appears opposite Dan Feuerriegel’s EJ and Emily O’Brien’s Gwen on Tuesday, March 3, and with Feuerriegel’s EJ and Jackee Harry’s Paulina on Friday, March 6. Wharton, who took over the diabolical role of Rolf from Wil Utay, weighed in on the whole experience.
Wally Kurth is back as Justin Kiriakis. Look for his character to console his TV son, Robert Scott Wilson’s Alex, on Tuesday, March 3.
Tina Huang returns as Melinda Trask. The attorney tries to get through to Rachel Boyd’s Sophia on Thursday, March 5.
General Hospital Casting
Patrick Scott Lewis is stepping into the recurring role of Congressman Ezra Boyle on GH. He makes his first appearance on Monday, March 2. The actor is subbing for Daniel Cosgrove, who was unable to report for work at the California-based soap due to East Coast storms that canceled his flight to Los Angeles. Lewis previously appeared on GH in 2024 as Mr. Thomas, a character who interacted with Jens Austin Astrup’s Kai and Tabyana Ali’s Trina. The recast is temporary.
Nazneen Contractor returns as district attorney Justine Turner. She interacts with Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante and Ryan Paevey’s Nathan on Monday, March 2. Check out some facts about the actress.
Wally Kurth pops in as Ned Quartermaine. He shares powerful scenes with Josh Swickard’s Chase on Monday, March 2.
Paige Herschell returns as Jacinda Bracken. Rory Gibson’s Michael opens up to the character on Monday, March 2. Herschel spoke out about her thoughts on the role and how it’s developed.
Kathleen Gati is back as Dr. Liesl Obrecht. She has a heart-to-heart scene with her TV son, Ryan Peavy’s Nathan, on Friday, March 6.
The Bold and the Beautiful Casting
As Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra’s (Laneya Grace) love life crumbles on B&B, Ashleigh Brewer continues to get more airtime as the manipulative Ivy Forrester. Electra’s overprotective aunt continues to plot against the couple this week. She shares scenes with Grace and Murielle Hilaire’s Daphne. B&B fans are actually split over who’s to blame for Will and Electra’s relationship implosion.
