General Hospital Casting
Fan favorite Steve Burton inked a new three-year contract with GH. That means Jason Morgan is staying put in Port Charles through 2029. Burton, who was nominated for a Daytime Emmy earlier this year, spoke out about what the honor means to him.
Wil Traval is joining the cast as Jude. The mystery man will arrive in town next month. The Aussie actor is best known for his roles as Dr. Jack Quade on the Australian drama All Saints and Will Simpson on the Netflix superhero series Jessica Jones.
Blythe Howard debuts as Monet, a new attorney who’s joining Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) law firm, on Wednesday, September 23. The character will be thrust into action upon meeting someone in need of legal counsel. Howard’s credits include Yellowstone, 9-1-1: Lone Star, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Dynasty.

The Young and the Restless Casting
The upcoming wedding of Sally (Courtney Hope) and Billy (Jason Thompson) sets the stage for the arrival of two new cast members on Y&R. Patrika Darbo will reprise her role of Shirley Spectra, Sally’s grandmother, while Ashley Campbell will debut as Coco Spectra, Sally’s sister. Darbo originally played Shirley on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2017 to 2018. Campbell is new to daytime and assumes the role of Coco from Courtney Grosbeck, who portrayed the character on B&B (2017-2018). Both actresses hit the screen next month.
Cait Fairbanks, who’s been MIA as Tessa Porter since April, is back on set filming. The actress shared the news and a selfie of herself via an Instagram story, and cited the soap’s studio in CBS Television City as her location.
