What are the latest comings and goings casting moves from all four daytime dramas: The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless?
Find out if any of your favorite actors and actresses from yesteryear are returning to the shows you watch, if any newcomers have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, or if any performers are making their exit.
Although Jake Webber is set to leave Port Charles to attend art school in Spain and will likely be off the canvas for a while, Hudson West isn’t exiting General Hospital permanently. The young actor, who’s portrayed Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Jason’s (Steve Burton) son since 2016, will continue as a recurring player.
Kin Shriner pops back in as Scott Baldwin on Monday, July 22. Look for the Port Charles attorney to have a strategy session with Maura West’s Ava.
Asher Antonyzyn makes another appearance as Danny Morgan. The teenager interacts with his TV dad, Steve Burton’s Jason, on Wednesday, July 24.
Carolyn Hennesy gets more airtime as attorney Diane Miller. She appears on Monday, July 22 and Friday, July 26.
Barre Johnson debuts as Pentonville’s new warden this week. He’ll have scenes with Finola Hughes’ Anna.
Isabella Dake has been cast as Miriam, a friend of Reylynn Caster’s Faith on The Young and the Restless. The daytime newcomer debuts on Monday, July 22, in scenes with Caster and Lily Brooks O’Briant’s Lucy. Dake’s credits include guest spots on American Housewife, Henry Danger, and Faking It.
Christopher Cousins resurfaces as Dr. Alan Laurent on Thursday, July 25. He’ll share scenes with Beth Maitland’s Traci as the pair’s romance continues to blossom in Paris.
Redding Munsell is back as young Harrison Abbott. The tyke airs on Friday, July 26, in scenes with his TV dad, Michael Mealor’s Kyle, and nanny, Hayley Erin’s Claire.
The long-missing Aaron D. Spears, who briefly appeared at the late Tom’s (Clint Howard) singing gig at Il Giardino, is getting more screen time as The Bold and the Beautiful’s Justin Barber. Bill’s (Don Diamont) former bestie and attorney returns for two episodes this week: Tuesday, July 23 and Wednesday, July 24.
As Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa’s (Emily O’Brien) double wedding resumes on Days of our Lives, a few special guests will continue their stints in Salem this week. Serena Scott-Thomas returns as Xander’s mother, Fiona Cook, on Monday, July 22.
Meanwhile, Zach Tinker is back as Sonny Kiriakis, Christopher Sean resurfaces as Paul Narita, and Colton Little reappears as Andrew Donovan. The trio airs on Monday, July 22.
