The Week of January 20, 2025

Find out if any of your favorite actors and actresses from yesteryear are returning to the shows you watch, if any newcomers have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, or if any popular performers are about to make their exit.

The Bold and the Beautiful

The long MIA Ted King is back for a key B&B storyline as Jack Finnegan, Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) father and  Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) recently revealed biological dad. The actor announced the news on Instagram, posting, “Jack is back!” King also noted that “a lot of mayhem will ensue on your screens over the next few days” as his upcoming plot begins to take legs.

General Hospital

Trouble is brewing on GH. Lydia Look is back for a new story arc as mob boss Selina Wu. (Here’s a peek at her thoughts about it.) The villainess, who resurfaced last week, finds herself back at odds with Cody (Josh Kelly) now that the gambler is once again in debt to her.

Christina Ferraro is getting more screen time as Dr. Navarro. The hospital’s resident, ob/gyn, has been advising Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) during her difficulties conceiving a child.

Charles Mesure returns as Jack Brennan. He has scenes with Laura Wright’s Carly on Tuesday, January 21 and with Jane Elliot’s Tracy on Friday, January 24.

Days of our Lives

Roslyn Gentle begins airing as the mysterious Woman in White this week on DAYS. But is it the same character from the past or a lookalike? The original character, who debuted and haunted Aremid in 1995, was Rachel Blake, Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) mother. However, she was presumed to have died in a gas explosion in 1996. Gentle, whose credits include S.W.A.T. and American Crime Story, previously played a judge on The Young and the Restless. The Woman in White was last played by Pat Delaney.

Finley Rose Slater returns as Rachel Black, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) daughter. The runaway airs on Friday, January 24, in scenes with the above-mentioned Gentle and Tamara Braun’s Ava.

Derek Yates pops in as the duplicitous Kerry. He appears in scenes with Al Calderon’s Javi and Greg Rikaart’s Leo on Monday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 22.

Madelyn Kientz is back as Sophia. The teen airs on Thursday, January 23. She’ll share scenes with Leo Howard’s Tate and Ashley Puzemis’ Holly.

Shi Ne Nielson makes another appearance as Amy Choi, Sophia’s mom. On Thursday, January 23, she interacts with Kientz and Braun.

The Young and the Restless

Genoa City’s resident villains continue to rage this week on Y&R. Colleen Zenk gets more screen time as Jordan Howard. She’ll share powerful scenes opposite Hayley Erin’s Claire on Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday January 22, and find herself backed into a corner by Eric Braeden’s Victor on Thursday, January 23

Jordan’s partner in crime, Ray Wise’s Ian Ward, is also back. He confronts Cait Fairbanks’ Tessa this week and torments Camryn Grimes’ Mariah on Thursday, January 23.
