Days of our Lives Casting
A dozen fan favorites are set to appear on DAYS’ special anniversary episodes this week. Alison Sweeney returns as Sami Brady on Tuesday, November 11. The actress appears in multiple episodes, sharing scenes with Dan Feuerriegel’s EJ, Martha Madison’s Belle, Deidre Hall’s Marlena, and others. (Sweeney reflected on her last DAYS visit, to pay tribute to the late Drake Hogestyn and his character John Black, in August.)
Sweeney is joined by her character’s twin brother. Greg Vaughan resurfaces as Eric Brady and is slated to air in three episodes.
Roark Critchlow is back as Mike Horton, and Maree Cheatham pops in as Marie Horton, too. The pair makes their first appearance on Monday, November 10.
Stephen Schnetzer returns as Steven Olson. Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) brother, who was last on the canvas in November 2024, is back for one episode. (The actor opened up about returning to the show after his brief run in the 1970s.)
In addition, Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers, who play supercouple Eli and Lani Grant, pay a very welcome visit to their family. And Chandler Massey returns home as Will Horton, while Bryan Dattilo reprises his role as Will’s father, Lucas Horton.
On the couple front, a pair of newlyweds is back on the scene. Namely, Christopher Sean as Paul Narita and Colton Little as Andrew Donovan.
Melissa Reeves continues her story arc as Jennifer Deveraux. She’ll be joined by Matthew Ashford, who plays her longtime husband, Jack Deveraux.
A pair of kid actors is back this week. Christopher Cary airs as Thomas DiMera on Monday, November 10. He interacts with his TV dad, Billy Flynn’s Chad.
Alice Halsey gets more screen time as Rachel Black. She shares scenes with her onscreen father, Eric Martsolf’s Brady, and others on Thursday, November 13.
General Hospital Casting
Erika Slezak, who joined GH as the late Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) sister, Veronica “Ronnie” Bard, in September, wrapped up her short-term story arc. Her character left town last week. The door, however, has been left ajar for her return at a later date. The actress admitted that she “would be open to coming back” to GH in the future. (Here’s what Slezak had to say about her experience working on the soap.)
Nazneen Contractor makes another appearance as Justine Turner. The assistant district attorney finds her plan unraveling on Friday, November 14.
Daniel Goddard returns as Henry Dalton. The professor turns up on Wednesday, November 12. (Goddard, who previously played Cane Ashby on The Young and the Restless, was blown away by his first scene with a GH vet).
In a surprise move, Marc Forget is back on the scene as Pascal, the former concierge at Five Poppies Dalmatia and the man who held Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) captive. The role is recurring, as Pascal is now working as Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) butler at Wyndemere.
The Young and the Restless Casting
Roger Howarth gets prominent screen time as Mitch Bacall, aka the villain Matt Clark, on Y&R. The actor interacts with Sharon Case’s Sharon on Wednesday, November 12, when the two adversaries exchange threats. Howarth joined the soap for a limited-run story arc.
Matt Cohen is back as Detective Burrow. The LA cop investigating Noah’s (Lucas Adams) car accident has a powerful exchange with Howarth’s Mitch/Matt. Cohen joined Y&R after runs on General Hospital and Supernatural.
Cait Fairbanks pops in as Tessa Porter. She shares scenes with Michael Graziadei’s Daniel on Thursday, November 13.
Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian return as Christine Blair and Danny Romalotti. Their characters finalize their wedding plans on Thursday, November 13.
