Days of our Lives
There’s good news and bad news at DAYS. Some big stars are returning, but a lead actress is out.
Alison Sweeney is back for another story arc as Sami Brady. She appears in scenes with Martha Madison’s Belle, Carson Boatman’s Johnny and Dan Feuerriegel’s EJ on Thursday, April 10. Sweeney made her last appearance in 2022.
Louise Sorel resurfaces for another run as Vivian Alamain too. Her character pops back into Salem on Friday, April 11, to claim what is rightfully hers. Sorel last aired in 2024.
Kyle Lowder pops in for a new stint as Rex Brady on Thursday, April 10. He shares scenes with his TV mom, Lauren Koslow’s Kate. He also airs on Friday, April 11 in scenes with his TV dad, Josh Taylor’s Roman. Lowder was last on the soap in 2023
A long-missing member of the DiMera family is returning to the fold. Thaao Penghlis is headed back to the soap as Tony. Penghlis, who made his Salem debut back in 1981, has been off the canvas since 2023. His character will begin airing later this year.
Tina Huang gets more screen time as Melinda Trask. She shares scenes with Stacy Haiduk’s Kristen and Cherie Jimenez’s Gabi on Wednesday, April 9.
Tamara Braun has completed her run as Ava Vitali. The actress, who made her final appearance on April 3, confirmed the news on Instagram. “I wish this was an April Fool’s Joke, but it’s not. This is Ava’s last week on Days.” The character moved to Hong Kong to be with her son, Tripp (Lucas Adams). Braun originally began playing Ava in 2008. The door has been left open for her return at a later date.
The Young and the Restless
After being MIA for months, Eileen Davidson is back at Y&R. Look for Ashley Abbott to finally return home to Genoa City on Tuesday, April 8. She’ll interact with her TV brother, Peter Bergman’s Jack.
Beth Maitland continues to get more airtime as Traci Abbott this week, too, while Christopher Cousins is back as Dr. Alan Laurent. The two actors share scenes on Tuesday, April 8, when Alan returns from Paris.
Connor Floyd pops in as Chance Chancellor. The GC cop airs on Monday, April 7, in scenes with Allison Lanier’s Summer and on Wednesday, April 9.
The Bold and the Beautiful
tkCassandra Creech has returned to B&B for another run as Dr. Grace Buckingham. The character, who first appeared as Paris’ (Diamond White) mother back in 2022, resurfaced last week to tend to the ailing Liam (Scott Clifton).
Delon de Metz pops back in as Zende Forrester on Tuesday, April 8. The fashion designer shares scenes with Thorsten Kaye’s Ridge and Murielle Hilaires Daphne Rose.
General Hospital
Asher Antonyzyn returns to GH as Danny Morgan, Jason (Steve Bond) and the late Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) son. He’ll interact with Sofia Mattsson’s Sasha on Friday, April 11.
Eva LaRue is back as Natalia Ramirez. On Thursday, April 10, her character will make a confession to Sonny (Maurice Benard).
The WSB drama continues. Bryce Durfee appears as Vaughn on Thursday, April 10, when his character briefs Eden McCoy’s Josslyn.
Braedyn Bruner resurfaces as Emma Drake. She’ll have a confrontation with her onscreen grandmother, Finola Hughes’ Anna, on Friday, April 11.
Carolyn Hennesy continues to get more screen time as Diane Miller. Look for Alexis (Nancy Grahn) to open up to her character on Tuesday, April 8.
