Casting For The Week of November 4, 2024
Find out if any of your favorite actors and actresses from yesteryear are returning to the shows you watch, if any newcomers have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, or if any popular performers are about to make their exit.
Days of our Lives
The Black family has a couple of happy homecomings this week to celebrate John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) anniversary on DAYS. (The episode also coincides with the soap’s 59th anniversary.) Martha Madison returns as the couple’s daughter, Belle Black Brady, after a year’s absence on Friday, November 8. She made her last appearance in November of 2023.
Christopher Sean is also back as Paul Narita, John’s son on Friday, November 8. Sean’s last visit was earlier this year to attend the ill-fated wedding of Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien).
Sean will be joined by Colton Little, who portrays his boyfriend, Andrew Donovan. Little also airs on Friday, November 8.
James Read pops in as the evil Clyde Weston on Wednesday, November 6. He’ll have scenes with Billy Flynn’s Chad.
Madelyn Kientz makes additional appearances as Sophia Choi. She’ll air on Monday, November 4 and Tuesday, November 5, opposite Tamara Braun’s Ava and Ashley Puzemis’ Holly.
Finley Rose Slater is back as Rachel Black. The young actress appears in scenes opposite her TV parents, Eric Martsolf’s Brady and Stacy Haiduk’s Kristen, on Monday, November 4.
On the exit front, Serena Scott Thomas has completed her run as Fiona Cook, Xander’s (Paul Telfer) mother. The character, who debuted last July, left Salem last week.
Greg Vaughan has also departed as Eric Brady. After helping to clear Brady (Eric Martsolf) of Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) hit-and-run accident, the character returned to Paris. However, the actor will continue appearing on the soap in the months ahead.
The Bold and the Beautiful
Apparently, viewers haven’t seen the last of the incarcerated Luna Nozawa on B&B. Lisa Yamada is back as the duplicitous character on Friday, November 8. She’ll share scenes with Romy Park’s Poppy, who visits her imprisoned daughter.
Krystal Mosely plays the jail guard at the above-mentioned prison. She airs on Friday, November 8.
Dick Christie pops back in as Charlie Webber, head of security at Forrester Creations. Look for the character to air in powerful scenes on Monday, November 4.
A few Forrester models are back on the scene. Heidi Grace Engerman returns as Lainey and Jasmine Dampier as Toni on Monday, November 4 and Friday, November 8. In addition, Shannon McMullen is back as Willow and Jade Coatsworth as Kingsley on Friday, November 8.
General Hospital
A trio of popular stars are out at GH. Kelly Monaco has wrapped up her two-decade run as Sam McCall. The character died last week following transplant surgery to save Lulu’s life. Monaco had been a main character on the soap since she made her debut in 2003.
Alley Mills also left town as Heather Webber after her character was released from prison. Mills began playing Heather in 2022, replacing Robin Mattson. The door remains open for her return at a later date.
Scott Reeves completed his in-and-out stint as Steven Lars Webber. His character headed back to Arizona with his mother, Heather.
Charles Mesure gets more screen time as John Brennan. The WSB honcho airs on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7.
Parry Shen is back as Brad Cooper in scenes with his ex, Lucas (Van Hansis). He airs on Thursday, November 7.
That was Robert Adamson briefly filling in as Michael Corinthos for an episode last week due to Chad Duell’s temporary unavailability. Adamson, who subbed for Duell before, has also played Noah Newman on Y&R.
The Young and the Restless
As previously speculated, despite being killed off Y&R as Heather Stevens, Vail Bloom has been appearing as the late character. Heather began haunting Sharon (Sharon Case), the woman who seemingly murdered her, last week. She joins Lindy Ashby’s Cameron Kirsten, who’s been spooking Sharon for weeks.
Christopher Cousins pops back in as Dr. Alan Laurent. The psychiatrist shares scenes with his new lady love, Beth Maitland’s Traci, on Tuesday, November 5.
