Here are the latest comings and goings casting news from all four daytime dramas: The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless.

The Week of January 27, 2025

Find out if any of your favorite actors and actresses from yesteryear are returning to the shows you watch, if any newcomers have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, or if any popular performers are about to make their exit.

General Hospital 

Chad Duell has wrapped up his 15-year run as Michael Corinthos on. Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) son made his final appearance on January 21, when the character was sent off to a clinic in Germany for treatment of the severe burns he incurred in an explosion. Duell had been a Port Charles mainstay since 2010. He reflected on his GH exit here

Braedyn Bruner is back as Emma Drake. The teenager has scenes opposite her TV grandmother, Finola Hughes’ Anna on Tuesday, January 28.

Michael E. Knight pops in as  Martin Grey. The attorney  has a run in with Tracy (Jane Elliot)  on Wednesday, January 29.

Charles Mesure returns as WSB honcho Jack Brennan. His character gets closer to Carly (Laura Wright)  on Thursday, January 30.

Parry Shen makes another appearance as Brad Cooper. The hospital lab technician airs on Friday, January 31.

The Young and the Restless

Colleen Zenk has finished her stint as the diabolical Jordan  Howard on Y&R. The character met her demise after drinking poisoned tea on the show’s January 24 episode. Zenk, best remembered for her role as Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns,  debuted as Claire’s (Hayley Erin) aunt in November of 2023.

Linden Ashby is back as the late Cameron Kirsten. The character haunts Sharon (Sharon Case) on Monday January 27.

Ray Wise appears in some explosive scenes as Ian Ward. Look for Eric Braeden’s Victor to put the dastardly cult leader on the hot seat on Tuesday, January 28. Wise also airs on Wednesday, January 29. He shares scenes with Braeden, Joshua Morrow’s Nick, Christian LeBlanc’s Michael, and others.

Valarie Pettiford gets more air time as Amy Lewis. She’ll interact with Sean Dominic’s Nate and Zuleyka Silver’s Audra on Monday, January 27. 

Days of our Lives

Maggie Carney returns to DAYS as  Rita, EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) assistant at DiMera Enterprises airs on Friday, January 31. The character last appeared in May 2024. The role is reported to be recurring.

Selena Moreno turns up as Savannah, the stripper at “Rafe’s” bachelor party. She airs on Tuesday, January 28 and Thursday, January 30. 

Roslyn Gentle is back as the Woman in White. She airs on Monday, January 27. 

Finley Rose Slater continues to cause trouble as Rachel Black. Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) daughter appears on Monday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 29.

Madelyn Kientz makes another appearance as Sophia on Monday, January 27.  She’ll share scenes with Leo Howard’s Tate.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Ted King returns to B&B as Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) father, Jack Finnegan. The character airs on Monday, January 27 and Tuesday, January 28. (Find out how the actor feels about the Luna paternity drama here.)

Jamison Belushi pops back in as April, the hospital lab technician. Look for the character to appear on Friday, January 31.
