The nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the 2024 Daytime Emmys have been announced. While the Outstanding Lead Actor category contains a traditional five nominees, there are a total of six actresses nominated this year.
Entertainment Tonight exclusively broke the news that the six nominated actresses in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the 2024 Daytime Emmys are: Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali, Days of Our Lives), Finola Hughes (Anna Devane, General Hospital), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful), Annika Noelle (Hope Logan, B&B), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers, The Young and the Restless), and Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves, GH).
While last year’s winner, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), isn’t on this year’s ballot, we suspect she’ll be spending some time with this year’s nominees at the annual nominee luncheon. Wood’s TV grandmother, Susan Flannery (ex-Stephanie), began a tradition years ago of the previous year’s winner hosting a luncheon for the next year’s batch of nominees.
The 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards air on Friday, June 7 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
