Jen Lilley and Ryan Paevey never worked together on the same daytime drama, but thanks to Hallmark, the actors known as Theresa on Days of Our Lives and Nathan on General Hospital are sharing some screen-time!
Indirectly, these two do have a bit of a soap past — Jen Lilley stepped in for Kirsten Storms to play Maxie a few years ago, and now Maxie’s paired with Ryan Paevey’s Nathan in Port Charles!
Loose Lips
Paevey and Lilley made the scene at the Hallmark Channel’s recent annual summer bash for TV critics to chat up their new project.
Alas, as production has just started the two don’t have much info to share; they can’t even say the name of the film!
“The [movie’s] title changed somewhere between last night and this morning,” Paevey tells Soap Hub.
Ryan flew up [a few days ago] to shoot 1/8th of a page,” Lilley says.
“But we did sit together today on a plane [from Canada back to Los Angeles], which was an excellent team-building experience,” Paevey shares.
Active Duty
Paevey shares that he’s not going to be missing any action with the PCPD because of his Hallmark shooting schedule. He pre-taped nearly 80 pages of material before he started the Hallmark film, and he’ll jump right back into the action when he wraps.
Alas, the handsome hunk laments that he won’t be in Los Angeles for this year’s upcoming General Hospital Fan Club Weekend.
A release date and plot summary of the duo’s film isn’t available just yet, but when it becomes available Soap Hub will share the news!
