Two former CBS soap stars are all grown up and currently filming a short film together that should make fans of The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, and Guiding Light very happy.
The movie, Hell California, stars former GL star Kimberly J. Brown (ex-Marah) as Holly, while former YR/BB star Adrienne Frantz (ex-Amber) will portray Esther.
Frantz shared a picture to Instagram of herself all bundled up, apparently for a night/early morning shoot, saying, “On set 3:30 shooting a movie! #hellcalifornia #actorslife.”
Meanwhile Brown also posted a pix, but she’s with Drew Anthony — who not only wrote the film but is also co-starring as Niko in it with her. She wrote, “First day on set with this guy! @mrdrewanthony #hellca.”
Brown is all grown up and besides her work on the late and lamented CBS soap, she’s appeared in Disney’s Halloweentown, Bringing Down The House, and Rose Red to name a few. She also appeared on the TV show Low Winter Sun, the mini-series Mondays, and the short film, Wrong Side of 25.
While we don’t know any details on the plot as yet, it looks like they are filming in Altadena — about 15 miles from Downtown Los Angeles, with 45 acres of mountains, forest, and ranch.
Frantz, who fans have been very vocal about wanting back on BB, has made several TV movies since leaving Amber Moore behind back in 2013. She was in The Perfect Girlfriend and Maternal Instinct and guested on TV shows Justified and A-Holes Anonymous.
