Without A Tracy: Should She Return To General Hospital?

General Hospital is running low on Quartermaines – especially now that Billy Miller as Drew, the Quartermaine nobody knew about, is rumored to be on his way out.

This only leaves Monica (Leslie Charleson), Jason (Steve Burton) – kind of, we all know his true loyalty is to the Corinthos clan, namely Sonny (Maurice Benard); and Michael (Chad Duell) — even more loyal to Sonny than Jason. Oh, and we guess Ned (Wally Kurth) is still around. He’s wherever Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) is…babysitting Leo.

Would now be a good time for Tracy (Jane Elliot) to return to Port Charles and remind the good folks what a Quartermaine typhoon feels like? What over 13,000 viewers would like to see happen:

Oh, yes, please, 75% of the audience is practically begging. We’ve missed her so much! No one else can snark as well as Tracy — Finn (Michael Easton) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) are just distilled pretenders to the throne. You want to hear Tracy’s take on… everything.

You want her back in the mansion. And you definitely want to know that she is away from Luke (Anthony Geary), who you think was no good for Tracy as he most certainly did not treat her well. So, Tracy, come home. Where you’re actually wanted and are nobody’s second choice.

Out Of Sight, Our Of Mind
Does Tracy love Sonny? No? Then, let’s be honest, there’s no place for her on the canvas, 25% of you are just being reasonable. Tracy coming back with nothing to do is even worse than no Tracy at all.

Tracy propping up other, lesser characters is downright depressing. So let’s keep her far away, enjoying the globe-trotting life she deserves, flitting from man to man, having a ball… and leaving Port Charles to suffer in her absence.
