First, General Hospital viewers thought Morgan (Bryan Craig) had been accidentally killed by a bomb his dad, Sonny, set for his arch-enemy, Julian. But that would have meant Sonny actually taking the blame for something and suffering the consequences of his actions.
And we couldn’t have that.
So next the finger was pointed at Julian (William deVry), who, for some reason, planted a bomb in his own car. Pshew, at least Sonny could go back to being the town hero.
But, wait! Now the culprit has been revealed as Olivia (Tonja Walker). So does that mean that Ava, who did love Morgan — in her own way — for a time, will be seeking revenge against her own sister for his death?
Love Is Love Is Love
Ava (Maura West) doesn’t love a lot of people. Her daughters, maybe. Her brother, sometimes. Silas and Franco (Roger Howarth)… but that was a long time ago. Yet 75% of you do believe that she loved Morgan — and that she’s going to make Olivia pay for what she’s done to him.
Here Comes the Sonny
It’s not a storyline in Port Charles unless Sonny (Maurice Benard) is front and center saving the day, which is why 24% of fans think Ava’s main feeling upon learning that Olivia killed Morgan will be relief at finally getting Sonny off her back about it. And that she’ll let him handle the revenge angle.
Explain It To Me Like I’m Five
Meanwhile, a handful of you are left scratching your heads, wondering what’s going on. “Why Olivia?” seems to be the dominant question, especially since she wasn’t even on the canvas at the time of Morgan’s presumed demise. Why did she plant a bomb in her brother’s car? And if she did, then why did Sonny and Julian ever think that they’d done it?
