Right on the heels of the big news that Steve Burton is returning to General Hospital (GH) comes more shocking news that will shock fans.
According to TVLine.com, Daytime Emmy winner Michael Sutton, who originated the role of Stone Cates, Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) childhood love from 1993-1995, who died of AIDS, will be bringing Stone back to the show for a short stint this summer.
He’s dead, you say? No worries! He will probably be a figment of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) imagination since the website is reporting the secret story will be tied to Sonny.
Could it be Sonny needs the help of the young man he loved and mentored to get through a harrowing ordeal? It would make sense since Sonny is trying to leave the mob and that’s easier said than done.
Either way, fans can rejoice at seeing the talented Sutton on their screens for the first time since Sutton’s last guest appearance back in September of 2010 when he helped Robin survive a crisis.
