While sitcoms had Father Knows Best, some soap opera dads go a bit darker – or at least they screw up. A lot. Some really know how to tick off their kids like no one else with their bad choices, while driving their wives away at the same time.
Right now there are several who are in the doghouse with those they love, but Soap Hub wanted to know which of the current crop of bad dads would you say has made the worst choices?

Old Fashioned Dad
Once thought of as the greatest dad in the world, over 57% nailed poor cuckolded Eric Forrester (John McCook) of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) as making all the wrong moves right now. Perhaps you’re upset he didn’t toss his cheating wife out.
Well he did, but then he decided to pack a bag and get out himself. WRONG! He should have thrown his son Ridge out of the guesthouse, Quinn to the curb, and been done with it. You worry he’s now fair game for big game hunter Sheila to pounce on.
The Mustache
About 35% declared Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) from The Young and the Restless (YR) as making the worst choices.

Why did he let his son’s killer practically go free (yes, keeping her at the doctor wasn’t “free” but it sure wasn’t prison!)?
That certainly had Nick scratching his head, and Victoria was ready to wash her hands of him too. Then, Victor kicked Nick out of his own (rent-free) house.
Even Nikki, who seems able to forgive him everything, froze him out of her life and more importantly her bed.
The Titan
Meanwhile only 5% think Victor (John Aniston) from Days of Our Lives (DOOL) was the most wrong. He probably shouldn’t have been so rough on Philip a while back and perhaps handing over the keys to the kingdom to Sonny was a bit premature.
A Man Scorned
Only 3% believe that Sonny (Maurice Benard) of General Hospital (GH) has been making the worst choices. Sure, Josslyn (and Jax!) would beg to differ, but now that he’s fixed that, he was finally on the right road. Of course, it didn’t last long.
