What’s Up With Willow’s Missing Birth Certificate on General Hospital?

On General Hospital, Willow went to grab her birth certificate so she could jet off to Paris with Michael Corinthos Quartermaine. (She never needed it before? To, you know, apply for her teaching job? Guess Port Charles is really chill about who they hire).

But, what do you know, it turns out she doesn’t have one — or at least not a legal one, according to Harmony (Inga Cadranel)! What could this little bombshell possibly mean? What over 3,000 viewers speculated about the reason for this:

GH: Back to the Obvious

Months ago, everyone was speculating that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter, which would either make her Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) twin, or the real kidnapped tot. Now, 59% of you are going back to that theory.

Looks like Nina is lining up to be Wiley’s grandma no matter what! Sure, the two women are currently at odds, so there is some drama to be mined from a sudden relationship, but considering how quickly Nina flipped on loving Nelle, should we expect anything different if it also turns out to be Willow?

General Hospital: Captain Obvious

Willow may not be Harmony’s biological child, but, please, please don’t make her Nina’s, 34% of the audience is begging. That would be so boring and predictable.

It’s what we all expected and were kind of happy when it didn’t happen. Make someone else Willow’s birth mother. Anyone else. How about…uh…Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)? It would make perfect sense if she gave up a baby as a teenager (like mother, like daughter, right)?

GH: Meaningless

It doesn’t mean anything, 7% dismiss, it’s a red herring. Something to inject drama into the dull as dishwater pairing of Willow and Michael (Chad Duell). Maybe, next week, Willow will misplace her keys. Or maybe we can have a whole episode dedicated to her looking for one of Wiley’s toys under the couch. And none of that will mean anything either.
