General Hospital’s Lulu Spencer and Dante Falconeri just have the worst luck, don’t they? We don’t mean the usual break-up/make-up cycle most soap couples endure, but they’ve got outside forces conspiring against them.
General Hospital Polling
First, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is taken prisoner while on a top-secret mission. Then, just as he returns, Lulu (Emme Rylan) is in a bomb blast and falls into a coma. While she’s playing Sleeping Beauty, Dante has gotten close with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). But what should he do once Lulu wakes up? Here’s what almost 2,000 viewers think:
GH: One and Only
Almost half of you, 49%, believe that the minute Lulu opens her eyes, Dante should leave Sam like the hot mess she is. Dante and Lulu are the one true pairing, and she is the true love of Dante’s life. Plus, they share a son, Rocco. Sam was just something to keep him distracted until he could get back together with the woman Dante will always love.
General Hospital: Back and Forth
Dante and Sam have forged a connection that’s deeper than the one Dante had with Lulu because it was made after Dante returned from his brainwashing stint. He’s a new man.
A different man from the one Lulu fell in love with. And a different man from the one who fell in love with Lulu. Sure, he’ll want to instinctively go back to his wife, 34% predict, but, in the end, he’ll realize what they had is over. Lulu might take a little convincing but, hey, she moved on with that teacher guy while Dante was gone, too.
GH: New Love
Dante won’t even waffle about it, 17% counter. He knows he and Lulu are over, and he and Sam are the future. This will be an easy break-up because Dante has moved on – and Lulu should, too. The Spencers know a bit about being presumed dead and/or comatose for an extended period of time. It’s a family tradition!
