Drew Cain is back on General Hospital. He needs to reconnect with his daughter, Scout, process that ex, Sam McCall, has moved on not just from him, but from that other love of her life, Jason Morgan, accept that his brother is dead, and wrestle with a vicious case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
General Hospital Homecoming
But, most importantly, Drew (Cameron Mathison) needs to fall in love. This is daytime TV, after all. So who should it be? What almost 2,000 voters told us:
Close Enough
Jason may be dead, but the latest love of his life was Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Which is why a winning 60% of you figure she and Drew might as well both move on…with each other. Britt misses Jason, Drew misses Sam (Kelly Monaco)…and Jason. They can commiserate. They can empathize. And then they can…get on with it.
Another General Hospital Shot
Drew and Sam aren’t done yet, 19% of the audience insists. The last time Jason was dead, Sam accepted Drew as a good enough substitute. So why not do it again. Sure, she’s with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) now. But that will never last. Sam thought Drew was too straight-arrow and corporate for her. So can she ever love a cop long-term?
The Other Mother
It was almost a tie as 18% voted for Drew and Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). They connected when Drew thought he was Jake Doe (before he thought he was Jason), and he ended up being a better father figure to her boys than Jason ever could be. So why not give this family another shot?
General Hospital Substitute
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) fell in love with Jason again while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was presumed dead. Now that Jason is gone and Sonny seems to have…outside interests…a last-place 3% figure she might as well give Jason’s twin a shot.
