General Hospital’s Peter August has done so many horrible things, it’s head-scratching to think that he isn’t already in jail. And yet, he isn’t.
General Hospital Polling
Which is why little Louise Jones is still being passed off as Bailey Quartermaine. Will justice finally be served in Port Charles? What over 2,000 fans predict:
GH: Cut Him Lose
Peter (Wes Ramsey) deserves to go to jail, 47% of you agree. Peter might even be convicted and sentenced to go to jail. But that’s where Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessey) will swoop in and get him out of trouble. He might pull legal strings as he did for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
Or he might spirit Peter out of the country – and away from the long arm of the law – like Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) did with her presumed-dead favorite son, Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly)…and other Cassadines have been doing since the beginning of time. Peter may be condemned. But you never expect him to pay for it.
General Hospital: Finish Him
Then again, an almost equal 45% of the audience predicts that Peter will beat jail…by getting killed first. And for real, this time. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) certainly would like him dead. Not to mention Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst)…Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)…Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)…Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). What we’re saying is, the boy isn’t popular. And he’s doomed.
GH: Justice Is Served
Only 8% of voters actually believe that Peter will be sent to the slammer for all of the evil that he’s done…and that he’ll live long enough – and remain in town – to serve a fair term. We understand your confusion. Nobody else in Port Charles gets punished for crimes similar to the ones Peter committed. So why should he? Because it’s the right thing to do hardly flies in this town.
