On General Hospital (GH), Ava has done some pretty hateful things.
There was the whole switching Morgan’s pills deal. And then his death. There was lying to Franco (Roger Howarth) about being Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) father.
But, then again, Ava (Maura West) does love her daughters. And she helped Jason (Steve Burton). And her relationship with Griffin (Matthew Cohen) definitely has its sweet moments.
So which is it? Do fans love or hate Ava Jerome? Here’s the opinion of almost 6,000 of you!
Why Not Both?
We love to hate her, pronounce 56% of you! Ava gets away with the things we wish we could – but are too nice (or too timid) to try.
Ava even gets to calli Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) the names you wish you could – if you lived in Port Charles and weren’t just raging at the TV.

Hate Is Great
Nah, we pretty much just hate her, counter a more cut and dried 29%. Ava does bad things. Ava is a bad person. Ava deserves all the bad things she’s got coming to her – and we don’t mean Griffin. He’s too good for someone so bad. Sorry not sorry.
All You Need Is Love
And then there are the contrary 14% of viewers who don’t care what Sonny or Carly or Julian (William DeVry) or Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) or the rest of Port Charles have to say. You love Ava!
She’s feisty and fun and, most importantly, she doesn’t just sit and cry her eyes out over the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune – like that tiny blemish on her face that she turned into a disfiguring monstrosity aside.
When life hands her lemons, Ava doesn’t just make lemonade – she turns it into acid and throws it into her opponents’ faces. How can you not love someone like that?
