Tune in to watch the Port Charles gang, these days, and you’ll find fast-paced plots and daily surprises. The soap is firing on all cylinders. Here are the Top 10 reasons to watch General Hospital right now.

1. Dominic Zamprogna Back As Dante

Early snippets of him at a WSB treatment facility were compelling, while the scenes where he rejected a visit from his mother, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), were heartbreaking. But the best is yet to come once he returns home and shakes up Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) world.

2. Return of Mob Wars

The mob is back, too, and in full force, thanks to Jeff Kober’s addition as crime lord Cyrus Renault. He’s blackmailing “The Commish,” threatening Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) turf, while arranging accidents (Jason) and beatdowns (Brando). Plus, he’s taken over control of the hospital.

3. Petering Out

Thanks to Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) sleuthing and Jason’s (Steve Burton) determination to bring Peter (Wes Ramsey) down, Anna’s (Finola Hughes) wayward “son” seems to be on the brink of being exposed as a calculating murderer and fraud. Unfortunately, it comes just as he’s found happiness with Maxie (Kirsten Storms), who’s pregnant with his child, and threatens to derail his future.

4. Whopper of a Secret

Carly (Laura Wright) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) have a huge secret – what really happened to Nelle (Chloe Lanier) — and they’re keeping it from everyone, including their significant others, Sonny and Nina (Cynthia Watros). Sonny doesn’t do well with secrets, and Nina had enough of them to last a lifetime with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). It puts both relationships in jeopardy.

5. Losing Mike

General Hospital gets an A+ for bravely depicting the final stages of Mike’s (Max Gail) battle with Alzheimer’s. From sweet moments like watching a baseball game with Sonny and their trip to the racetrack to Sonny agonizing over his father’s decline and deciding not to have him get a feeding tube, it’s been gut-wrenching and real.

6. Backward Love Story

Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) wed to gain custody of Wiley and are quickly falling for each other. Meanwhile, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), who pushed them together, are watching from the sidelines. By the time their selfless plot is exposed, it could be too late to change the course of the quadrangle.

7. Bring ‘Em Back Alive on General Hospital

Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) alive, and only Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and a few others know about it. When the truth finally comes out, Trina (Sydney Mikayla) will likely be overjoyed to have her father back, but Jordan’s marriage to Curtis (Donnell Turner) is sure to implode, which could send him into Portia’s (Brook Kerr) arms.

8. War of the Roses

Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava’s (Maura West) marriage has been a twisted game of one-upmanship and manipulation. That is until they shared one steamy kiss, that affected their game plans. The thought of the pair actually falling in love is intriguing.

9. Robert Gets A Caper!

Holly (Emma Samms) is reportedly “dead,” but is it for real? Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) determined to investigate, and Holly’s son, Ethan (Nathan Parson), will be part of the mix, as viewers anxiously await the truth.

10. Hope For Julexis?

Alexis is reeling from Neil’s (Joe Flanigan) sudden death, while Julian (Wiliam deVry) is picking up the pieces after his horrific marriage to Nelle. It’s giving Julexis fans hope of a reconciliation. However, Kelly Thiebaud’s return as Julian’s ex-lover, Britt, is sure to complicate things. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
