The Talk Will Reveal The Soap Hub Award Winners
As announced on ‘The Talk’ today, the winners of the 2nd Annual Soap Hub Awards will be revealed on the CBS Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show, which is hosted by Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Sheryl Underwood.
The Talk And The Soap Hub Awards
“Bringing the Soap Hub Awards to ‘The Talk’ feels like a great way to honor the daytime community and its loyal viewers. We’re excited for this partnership and to celebrate this year’s favorite soap opera performances chosen by the fans,” said Heather Gray and Kristin Matthews, executive producers, ‘The Talk.’
“Daytime fans have always been passionate and outspoken about their favorite performers and shows,” says Diane Brounstein, Soap Hub’s Editor in Chief. “We wanted to give soap opera viewers the opportunity to have their voices heard, so last year, we launched The Soap Hub Awards. We’re thrilled this year to be partnering for the awards with ‘The Talk’, which has always been a great supporter of the soap opera genre.”
Inaugural Soap Hub Awards
Last year, Soap Hub presented the winners in a virtual ceremony. Winning actors including Sharon Case (Sharon, Y&R), Don Diamont (Bill, B&B), Robert Scott Wilson (Ben, DAYS), and William Lipton (Cameron, GH) took to social media to express their gratitude to their loyal supporters who voted for them.
This year, Soap Hub introduced some exciting new categories to the awards as fans voted on Favorite Newcomer and Favorite Feud. Viewers will have to tune in on Friday, November 19 to find out who wins.
