Soap Star News: Inaugural Soap Hub Award Winners Thank Their Fans

Earlier this year, the editors of Soap Hub, having realized that there wasn’t a fan-based awards show in which viewers could choose their daytime favorites, held the Inaugural Soap Hub Awards. The soap star winners were announced in a virtual ceremony held at the end of August.

Now, the statues have found their way to their recipients and the winners are thanking the many fans who voted! “Thank you @Soap_Hub 🙏🏼 much love. @nbcdays #days,” posted Robert Scott Wilson (Ben, Days of Our Lives). The actor won the award for Favorite Actor – DAYS.

Sharon Case (Sharon, The Young and the Restless), who won for Favorite Actress – YR, is also thanked her fans. “Thank you SO much to Soap Hub and the readers of Soap Hub for this amazing award for Favorite Actress💃🎉🎉🎉🎉 @soaphub #YR @youngandrestlesscbs @cbstv ❤️,” Case wrote on Instagram along with a video, posted below.

“CONGRATS GIRL!!!” posted Case’s leading man, Jordi Vilasuso (Rey). “Grateful to have been able to witness the greatness! 🙌👏#yr.”

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Don Diamont (Bill), who won the award for Favorite Actor – BB, shared on Instagram: “🙏🏻❤️GRATITUDE ❤️🙏🏻 @soaphub @boldandbeautifulcbs.” He added in his video acceptance speech: “I am really flattered and humbled…and congrats to Jacqui [MacInnes Wood] (Steffy), who won for Favorite Actress – BB.”

“What an honor!! Huge thank you to ⁦@Soap_Hub,” shared on twitter William Lipton (Cameron, General Hospital), who won Favorite Younger Actor. “Thank you also to everyone out there for your amazing support. Stay healthy, stay safe, and of course stay awesome!!”
