After Ava and Alexis’s successful field trip to that New York City art gallery last week on General Hospital. It’s no surprise that this week, she will give Ethan a run for his money. In fact, the spoilers for the Friday, June 5 episode reveal that Ava challenges Ethan. How will the unflappable Ethan respond?

Key Takeaways

  • Ava puts Ethan on the spot over his connection to Delilah.
  • Brook Lynn turns to an ally as multiple threats close in.
  • Laura finally gets a much-needed victory amid ongoing challenges.

Ava Challenges Ethan

It was fun to see Ava (Maura West) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) join forces to extract information from Apollo (Maxwell Caulfield), the art gallery owner. The women couldn’t get any intel out of Apollo until Ava leveraged the Quartermaine name. That’s when Apollo allowed Ava and Alexis to look at a photo of Delilah (Lily Cardone), and wouldn’t you know it, Ethan (Natha Dean) was in the picture with her.

So they now know that Ethan has some sort of connection to Delilah, and ultimately, baby Phoebe. On Thursday, Alexis and Ethan already seem to get the business out of the way. And on Friday, she delivers good news, most likely to Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Meaning they could be one step closer to adoption.

So what makes Ava want to challenge Ethan? She’s not a big fan of the guy. She certainly didn’t appreciate being manhandled during that recent confusion between Ric (Rick Hearst) and Sonny (Maurice Benard).

Ethan may intrigue Ava. And if she’s spending time trying to figure him out, then she’s spending less time in Sidwell’s vicinity, which is probably a good thing.

Brook Lynn Braces for a Fight

For Brook Lynn, there are a few pesky little details that are making her life…complicated. First, there’s the accident that she drove away from. That she didn’t even know about. But because Curtis (Donnell Turner) is making a big deal about this, it could become a roadblock to adopting Phoebe.

Second is Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Whether Tracy (Jane Elliot) tells her granddaughter about the moment she witnessed at the boathouse or not, she knows that Willow is a threat. And she has no problem going scorched earth if the situation calls for it. And third, there is Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and his illegal business tactics that the ladies of Deception do not want anything more to do with.

On Friday, Brook Lynn enlists an ally. To deal with which problem?

Wins and Warnings

There’s no way that Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will be happy with her Britta (Kelly Thiebaud) having left town, especially without saying anything to her. Although she may be okay with it because she’s doing it to protect Rocco. On Friday, Obrecht issues another warning. Is it to Fake Nathan (Ryan Paevey) or to someone else?

Meanwhile, look for Laura (Genie Francis) to finally experience a win. It has been a minute. She has had the weight of the world on her shoulders lately, with Rocco (Finn Carr, who’s one of GH’s Performers of the Month for May 2026) on the run and Sidwell holding that trumped-up evidence over her head. But now, she, Sonny, and Lucas (Van Hansis) are actively doing something about it. What will that win involve?
