It wasn’t a figment of Nina’s or anybody’s imagination. It was real. Nina pushed Drew and his wheelchair into the lake at the end of Friday’s General Hospital. Now Nina needs help to cover up her crime. And the search is on for the former congressman who’s been in a locked-in state for months. Here’s your spoilers video preview breakdown for July 27-31.
Key Takeaways
- Nina turns to Jack for help after making a shocking move against Drew.
- The search for Drew begins as Port Charles scrambles for answers.
This Week on General Hospital: July 27-31, 2026
Jack Processes What Nina Tells Him
Nina (Cynthia Watros) resorted to scorched-earth levels to protect her daughter. What was she thinking? She wasn’t. “You pushed Drew’s wheelchair into the lake,” Jack (Chris McKenna) asks her incredulously.
Chase (Josh Swickard) holds Phoebe at the Metro Court pool. He says a quick “I’m sorry, what?” to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). This could very well be about Drew (Cameron Mathison). But the caption alludes to Brook Lynn bringing Chase a surprising update.
So his wife could be filling him in on Maxie (Kirsten Storms) selling her shares of Deception to Chase’s favorite person…the one he likes to frequently accuse of attempted murder. And that’s Michael (Rory Gibson).
Nina Pleads for Jack’s Assistance
Drew isn’t seen in this promo, but he is the video’s main focus. The search is on for the guy who terrorized many of Port Charles’s residents. It’s because of what she did to him that Nina needs serious help. Of course, she turns to the guy she recently slept with: Jack.
“You have to help me cover this up,” she demands. Brennan has helped her out before. But this is a lot to ask of one person, even for a WSB station chief whose reputation isn’t the best after the Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) debacle. Suddenly, we see Gio (Giovanni Mazza, who’s nominated for a 2026 Daytime Emmy) at the boathouse, and he says, “I found him.” Cut to Jack wanting to know, “Where is Drew now?”
Apparently, He’s Back
That’s the essential question here. The promo states in big letters, “He’s back.” We hear Gio say, “You guys are not going to believe this.” But we see Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) looking horrified, followed by a shot of Trina (Tabyana Ali). Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) then says, “Dad,” at the door of his house.
That’s when the action lands on Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), who’s leaning over someone. or something — we don’t really get to see. Could that be Drew? And if it is, is he okay?
