Spoilers focus on characters raising a little hell at Jason’s arraignment for the Thursday, March 28th episode of General Hospital. Expect emotions to flare like anger, surprise, hope, and stubbornness. So do not miss a minute.
Jason’s arraignment must be the only entertainment in town. Because the residents of Port Charles show up in droves, popcorn in hand, ready to discover for themselves the whats, whys, and hows of Jason’s return and Dante’s shooting. (Refresh your memory on yesterday’s GH with this photo recap)
Look for tempers to fly at the arraignment despite a courtroom needing to be a calm, cool environment. This concerns heightened emotions over seeing Jason (Steve Burton — who reunited with a costar on the GH set) alive and well. And also finding out what he knows about what happened to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Plus, don’t forget all the everyday drama they can’t avoid now that everybody’s face to face. And, Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) presence alone will no doubt cause a few fiery clashes to erupt.
Suddenly, Sonny (Maurice Benard — check out his latest SOM here) experiences his doubts. Jason’s “resurrection” has thrown the mobster off his game. So much so, that he doesn’t know if the Jason who’s returned is the same Jason he’s known. He believes that there’s a good chance Jason shot Dante. At the very least, he doesn’t appreciate Jason leaving Dante alone after caring for him and calling 911. Sonny doesn’t know much these days because he is bogged down in feelings of betrayal and mistrust. Is he starting to think clearly again?
Maybe his life will look brighter if he can start feeling the hope that Sam (Kelly Monaco) does. What does it mean when she gets some hope? Is Dante showing signs of waking up from his coma?
Carly (Laura Wright) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn — who detoured to Vegas recently) are obviously present and accounted for at Jason’s arraignment. Of course, Carly will be anywhere that Jason is. Teasers suggest that she and Alexis are surprised. Is this about finding out where Jason’s been this entire time or something else entirely? Are Carly and Alexis even surprised about the same thing?
Finally, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is insistent. She wouldn’t be Nina if she weren’t insistent, right? Knowing her, she will try to support Sonny the only way she knows how at the arraignment. And Sonny will do what he’s been doing to her ever since he found out about her SEC misdeed. He’ll ignore her or shut her out.
