Spencer and Trina Define their Future Together

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) were able to spend quality time together on Christmas Eve. Well, the holidays aren’t over. It’s now New Year’s Eve and the young couple decide to take a moment to reflect, plan, and look at the big picture of their relationship (Tabyana Ali reflects one of Sprina’s biggest 2023 moments here). 

This requires them to D-T-F which, in this case, means they define their future. During this pivotal conversation, will the two think long-term? Will they make plans to take their relationship to the next level? And what does that next level look like? Taking things slowly, moving in together, or a much bigger step? Are they on the same page?

You Can’t Spell ‘Secret’ without S-E-C

Clearly, Nina (Cynthia Watros) being the identity of the whistleblower is about to blow up big time. Unsurprisingly, things are starting to occur that are designed to put the screws to her. One such disaster waiting to happen comes in the form of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Suddenly, he makes a confession to Nina. This has to be about Nina making her confession to him in the church instead of the priest, right? It’s a good bet that Nina’s reaction isn’t going to be anywhere near the vicinity of calm.

On top of this confession mess, Lois (Rena Sofer) is about to discover shocking information. But let’s be real, how shocking is this info when half the town already knows? The thing is, there are specific individuals who live in Port Charles that aren’t privy to this piece of gossip just yet. Obviously, there’s no way Lois is going to keep this to herself. That’s not who she is.

Returns and Reconnections

In addition, one more piece to the Nina puzzle is about to fall in line when Drew (Cameron Mathison) finally returns from his business trip down under. What’s he going to find when he reconnects with his loved ones? How quickly will he learn Nina’s part in his name getting to the SEC? More importantly, how will he react?

Lastly, Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) on the prowl — she’s moving about the world with all of her memories intact. She’s already visited her bio dad’s grave, the next logical thing for her to do is visit her mom in prison. Yes, she visits Heather Webber (recent Daytime Emmy winner, Alley Mills). How will this interaction between the crazy chaotic sex tape creator and the crazy chaotic murderer go? How will Heather advise her daughter now that she remembers all the off-the-rails things she did before her amnesia?
