Trina (Tabyana Ali) is in for a big surprise on her birthday. While this is another birthday she’ll have to spend without Spencer (ex-Nicholas Alexander Chavez), she has a lot to be thankful for. She has the love of her family and friends. She is back in college, pursuing her love of art. Plus, she has a job that helps her live her best artsy life. There is also someone new in her life, Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). Of course, they’re just getting to know each other.
So is this big surprise something good or bad? If it’s good, it could be something that Kai has been cooking up if he knows about her special day. If it’s on the other end of the spectrum, does she discover something about her mom that she didn’t want to know?

Revealing Father and Son
When Sonny (Maurice Benard) makes a confession on Friday, is it about something personal or professional? Maybe he finally fesses up to more than just Jason (Steve Burton) and Natalia (Eva LaRue) about his heart issues. Or maybe he fesses up to knowing that Gio (Giovanni Mazza) is his grandson, and he’s known about Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) offspring all along.
Meanwhile, Sonny’s son does some confessing of his own. Dante already shared his thoughts and feelings with Chase (Josh Swickard) in the sauna. Where will this next chat session between the partners take place? And what is talked about when Dante opens up to Chase?

Answers and Assurances
Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) last run-in with Ava (Maura West) and Ric (Rick Hearst) frustrated her immensely. She wanted to take Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) to the ballet and made assumptions. But she should have checked with Sonny and Ava’s respective Avery dates. When Kristina wants answers, does she ask her dad why he’s being so magnanimous with Ava and this 50/50 custody arrangement, or does she seek answers about something else?

Finally, Lois (Rena Sofer) gets reassurance. Brook Lynn’s mom has been actively seeking consultations. covering tracks, and hiding massive secrets.
