Anna and Valentin found true love on General Hospital. Their relationship ended a while ago, but we held out hope for a reconciliation, until now.
Falling Apart
Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) were a strong couple for a long time. He was probably her best match since Duke (Ian Buchanan). Both were WSB agents, and they understood each other and shared a past.
Things began to crumble with Valentin’s lies. He knew his daughter Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) had fallen under a Cassadine spell and was stalking Anna. They may have worked things out together if he had been honest with his girlfriend. Instead, she ended up shooting Charlotte when the young girl broke into her apartment.
Anna never forgave herself for what happened and hasn’t been the same since the incident. There was no way “Vanna” could stay together after something like that. Valentin continued his dishonesty with his involvement in Pikeman.
Say It Isn’t So
Anna let Valentin get away with Charlotte before he could be arrested. Dad and daughter have been on the run for months, but we have seen a few glimpses of them since they left.
Things have become much too dangerous for them as the WSB is on their trail, so Valentin knew it was time for his daughter to go home. When Anna and Jason (Steve Burton) came to get Charlotte, she and her ex had a touching moment. They both knew he may not live through this, so they said their goodbyes.
Will we ever see Valentin back in Port Charles? That remains to be seen. In the meantime, Charlotte is on her way back to her mom, Lulu (Alexa Havins), and may never forgive Anna. She and Valentin may have said their final goodbyes but we know nothing is forever on GH. Do you think this is the end of Vanna? Let us know in the comments section.
