Pressure for Answers
Since Maxie (Kirsten Storms) woke up from her coma, she has been reunited with her family. She has chosen Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) over Nathan (Ryan Paevey), and she learned that Nathan has feelings for Lulu (Alexa Havins). She is also right back to being super suspicious of Sidwell (Carlo Rota). If it were up to her, she would kick Sidwell to the curb.
It’s why he put her in the coma in the first place, which is a secret that needs to come out sooner rather than later.
When Maxie demands answers, this could mean she has another one-on-one with Nathan. But this could also mean she turns her attention back to Deception’s books. She sees something that doesn’t add up and wants to know what Sidwell is really up to.
Of course, Maxie is the one who might uncover Sidwell’s devious intentions with Deception. Sidwell has done his best to neutralize Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Laura (Genie Francis). But he may, once again, have to find a way to deal with Maxie.
Advice and An Offer
Lulu seeks advice from Carly (Laura Wright, who talks about Carly’s jealousy), potentially about her feelings for Nathan. But, honestly, Lulu may not want to turn to her cousin for advice. She has no idea that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart, who teases Carly and Valentin) has been staying rent-free in Carly’s attic since he escaped from the WSB.
And she has no idea that Carly knows that Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) knows that her dad has been shacking up with Carly for months. And has visited her dad multiple times.
On top of that, she has no idea that Carly and Valentin just had sex. So Lulu may just want to turn around and look for someone else to get advice from. Meanwhile, Valentin gets an offer. More people are starting to know his whereabouts. So, who does this offer come from?
Gratitude and Reconnecting
Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) voices her gratitude, which shouldn’t be shocking, but it is. Jason (Steve Burton) is going above and beyond to ensure she gets away from Sidwell and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and that her health remains intact. Lucas (Van Hansis) is doing his best to help and has enlisted Marco (Adrian Anchondo) to get a dose of her meds.
If this happens, it can be reverse-engineered, and she won’t need to depend on anybody from here on out. So it’s a good thing that she’s leading with gratitude instead of what she often leads with…sarcasm and bitterness.
Finally, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Cody (Josh Kelly) catch up, according to spoilers. It has been a minute since they talked. Cody can share that he’s currently dating Molly (Kristen Vaganos), who recently had an endometriosis flare-up. And Dante can share the fact that his other best friend, Nathan, is in love with Dante’s ex-wife. Needless to say, there’s a lot to discuss.
