He advised Brook Lynn not to separate to secure custody of Phoebe (Lucia and Luna Creighton). Brook Lynn pushed Michael into the lake after he said Chase would end up in bed with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), which could secure her custody. Michael defended his comments as he tried to give Brook Lynn a reality check. Brook Lynn called him out for using her marriage in his war against Willow.
