General Hospital Spoilers for June 18: Agent Cates Throws Jason a Curveball

General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, June 18, focus on keeping characters off balance as Cody and Sasha get closer. Also, Sam has a request for Carly.

Off Balance

Agent Cates (Adam J. Harrington) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) don’t exactly have a warm and fuzzy dynamic. In fact, most of their conversations involve loud voices and pointless orders. Because everybody knows Jason doesn’t deal well with authority or follow anybody’s rules.

However, on Tuesday, John throws Jason for a loop. Does he suddenly change tactics and attempt to kill Jason…with kindness? Does he lower his voice during their interactions? Requests and Invitations

While Jason deals with the Feds, his bestie Carly (Laura Wright) must deal with Sam (Kelly Monaco). According to the weekly promo, the two will have a significant conversation. In fact, Sam makes a request of Carly. Since Sam has been trying to get Jason off the hook, could she tell Carly what she knows about why Jason continues working for the Feds? And what is this request all about?

Elsewhere, Anna (Finola Hughes) accepts an invitation. This must be the dinner with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). After all, she wants to wrap up this investigation with a neat and tidy bow. She knows her ex is the head of Pikeman. He doesn’t know that she knows that he’s the head of Pikeman. Or does he? Will Anna be able to get what she needs to put Val away (if that’s the end game here)?

Close Proximity

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Scott (Kin Shriner) and Lucy (Lynn Herring) mixing it up in Port Charles. When Scott confers with his friend and fellow troublemaker, what do they have to discuss? Is he acting as legal representation for Lucy, or is this simply something personal? (Find out who else is returning to GH in our Comings & Goings)

Finally, Cody’s (Josh Kelly) and Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) slow burn is still inching along. Sometimes, it’s easy to forget they’ve admitted they have feelings for each other. However, they spend a lot of time together at the Quartermaine manse and at the Metro Court pool, but they still feel like close friends more than anything. Well, look for the two to get closer. It’s about time!
