Michelle Stafford, who plays Phyllis on The Young and the Restless, suffered an injury recently. The three-time Daytime Emmy winner has a boot on her foot. How did the soap star get injured?
Woman’s Best Friend
“Who would like a Bloodhound…?” Stafford asked in an Instagram post that shows her dancing to the Fleetwood Mac song “Silver Springs.” The star originally posted the video on TikTok.
Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), Stafford’s pal, asked what happened. In her Instagram stories, Stafford shared that she got her injury while merely walking her four-legged friend. It appears that Stafford went running after her bloodhound and injured herself.
Fans are wishing her a speedy recovery and predicting that Phyllis will be seen seated in upcoming Y&R episodes. It’s always possible that the show could write the injury into the show. One fan had a pretty fun idea about a potential storyline explaining the boot, quipping that Phyllis hurt herself chasing after ex-husband Danny’s (Michael Damian) tour bus!
Stafford’s injury did not keep her from attending a performance of Foxie Ladies in Hollywood, starring The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Karla Mosley. Click here to get the details on that show.
Soap Hub wishes Stafford a quick healing from this mishap.
