GH Spoilers Wild Speculation: Why Esme Thinks She’s Ryan’s Daughter

But, then again, her mental stability can’t be too great, genetically speaking. We all know Ryan is using the teen troublemaker. But could it be in even more ways than we are already suspecting?

Maternity Puzzle

If Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) is, in fact, Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) papa, then fans are dying to know who the mama is. GH spoilers tease that Felicia Jones Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) seems to be a top candidate, but we’re all scratching our collective heads wondering how a savvy Private Investigator like Felicia could have missed nine months of pregnancy…and then no baby at the end of it. (Yes, Felicia was off the canvas for intermittent stretches, so she easily could have had a baby. But why in the world would she keep it a secret?)

GH Spoilers: Paternity Puzzle V. 1

What if Ryan just thinks he’s Esme’s papa because he has a paternity test which tells him so? That’s usually pretty good evidence (in the real world, not in Port Charles, but we’ll let that go for now).

But, there’s a wrinkle: GH spoilers predict that Ryan has an identical twin, Kevin Collins (also Jon Lindstrom). And there’s no way to tell which one might be the actual biological parent. GH spoilers had even Anna Devane guessing in the whole Anna/Peter/Alex maternity puzzle. What if we’ve got a case of mistaken identity on our hands?

Or, even more Ryan-like, what if Ryan knows the truth. He knows Esme is Kevin’s. But since Ryan has always wanted whatever was Kevin’s, isn’t this a fun trick to play on his brother? He’s lying to Esme. And convincing her she’s just as much of a nut as dear old Dad.
