GH Spoilers Wild Speculation: Sonny Comes Home, Minutes Too Late

Years ago, Sonny Corinthos fell in love with his best friend’s girl. Carly Benson (then, Sarah Brown) was all about Jason Morgan, but Sonny bedded her anyway. GH spoilers hint Jason and Carly will soon marry, so having them hit the sheets isn’t farfetched — and we’re wondering if this will be a replay of that famous scene.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) keep reminding each other they are getting married in name only, but oh, how the tables have turned. Carly spent years upon years trying to become Jason’s blushing bride. Will she really waste this chance to have it all? He may not be her soulmate (anymore), but he is her ride and die. Plus, what could be better than marrying your best friend?

GH: A Proper Marriage

We can just see it now. Carly and Jason say I do during what we’re sure will be a disaster of a wedding. Let’s face it, they are a mob couple marrying during a mob uprising with several mobsters in attendance. If that doesn’t spell trouble we don’t know what does. However, that’s a story for a different day (read here).

Anyway, Jarly officially becomes a couple and when they get home, Jason tries to comfort his distraught bride. A hug leads to a tight embrace which leads to a kiss, and you can see where this goes. Carly and Jason end up in bed. It’s a beautiful scene of passion and love and the two become one. This is anything anyone could ever ask for. It’s beautiful.

General Hospital: Honey, I’m Home!

But wait, we can’t just let them bask in this wedding bliss, can we? Absolutely not. The couple comes up for air and wanders into the kitchen for a midnight snack. Carly’s in Jason’s top, he’s wearing just his pants. It’s all good, right? They’re alone. Not so much.

Before they know it, the door opens and Sonny (Maurice Benard) comes bounding in. “Carly, I’m home! I’m alive! I’m here!“ He has his memory back and can’t wait to reconnect with the true love of his life! Talk about bad timing (or good timing, depending on who you ask).
