GH Spoilers Wild Speculation: Sonny and Britt ‘Bond’ Over Losing Jason

Jason Morgan’s death is hitting everyone hard and GH spoilers don’t show very much relief in sight for his loved ones. However, they do show Sonny Corinthos is going to cross paths with Jason’s most recent flame, Britt Westbourne. It got us thinking about what happens when they do sit down to discuss their fallen friend.

Will Sonny (Maurice Benard) follow in his wife’s footsteps and blame Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) for Jason’s demise? Surely he won’t do something so low. Let’s face it, Sonny put Jason’s life at risk more times than any of us can count. Britt asks for help one time and no one could expect it would end like this. We predict Sonny will see that light, tap into his inner Mike, and help Britt grieve.

GH: Trauma Bonding At Its Finest

Well, that all sounds pretty innocent, right? Sure…for now. But, we have a feeling something more is about to go down between these two. Something that leaves them breathless and all our jaws collectively hanging open. We think Sonny and Britt will bond over their mutual heartbreak and get way too close for comfort. One thing will lead to another and they’ll end up embroiled in a sizzling love affair.

Think about it, Sonny hasn’t exactly had the best connection to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) since his epic return. Oh sure, it’s nice and cordial, and being with the kids is wonderful. They sleep in the same bed, talk over their morning coffee, and share their lives. However, we don’t see much heart in it. Not like they used to have. Carly’s heart belongs to Jason and Sonny’s just not head over heels like he once was.

As for Britt, she kept her walls up for years before her and Jason’s hot and heavy fling. Then, he ran off to marry Carly and by the time they began discovering each other again, it was too late. She could use some romance in her life and Sonny is just about the perfect man for that job.

Plus, think about the drama it would cause. A feud between Carly and Britt would reach epic proportions. It would make Carly wish she pushed Britta off the bridge when she had a chance. And it certainly wouldn’t endear her to ‘sort of’ sister Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who has her own feelings for Sonny. Think this wild speculation could really happen?
