GH spoilers reveal Ava Jerome Cassadine and Nikolas Cassadine continuing to cover up what really happened to Esme Prince, but what if one of them already knows?

GH Spoilers Wild Speculation: Nikolas’s House Of Lies

Ava (Maura West) had to learn the hard way she couldn’t trust her husband when Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) confessed that he slept with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) while he thought they were on a break. Yes, he felt guilt and remorse because he loves Ava in his own twisted way but probably not so much that he wouldn’t lie again.

Remember, he is the one who went searching for Esme after she went tumbling over the parapet, returning only with her shoe and declaring that she was gone and likely dead. But what if he did find her very much alive and has been keeping her hostage ever since to prevent her from ruining his life even further?

Keeping Esme Prince Hostage As A Last Resort

Nikolas is also managing to keep Ava by his side and under his roof in the name of protecting her from the police. After all, nobody can learn that Nikolas had an affair, or Ava would be the prime suspect if Esme does turn up. At least, that is what he is telling Ava, and she is going along with it.

GH Spoilers: Payback

Keeping Esme hostage somewhere is the perfect way to act altruistically in the name of protecting Ava and eventually winning her back. Plus, Nikolas gets to punish Esme, which to him would be a bonus after all the trouble she caused. After the way he treated Ava when he first returned to Port Charles, it wouldn’t be surprising if he is now a kidnapper as well.
