GH Spoilers Wild Speculation: It’s Esme Prince’s Biggest Secret Yet

For months, GH spoilers have been promising to reveal the identity of Esme Prince’s biological parents. And then they finally did! The scheming, seductive Eurotrash heiress is the offspring of Heather Webber and Ryan Chamberlin. So that poor baby – and her adoptive parents – were doomed from Day One. But here’s something that’s got us a little confused.

Heather first popped up in Port Charles during the summer of 1976. Let’s say she was 20 years old then, which would put her birth year as 1956. Which would make her 67 years old. Robin Mattson, who played the role longest, is 66. Her current portrayer, Alley Mills, is 71.

And Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) is the same age as Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). They’re in college. So they are 18, 19, 20 years old at the most. Which makes Esme being Heather’s – and Ryan’s (Jon Lindstrom) biological daughter…very unlikely. Not impossible, just very, very unlikely. Very.

But do we actually know that Esme is 20? Has Heather or Ryan ever given an exact date for their affair, and thus Esme’s birth? We just assumed she was Spencer’s age, because the two knew each other in boarding school. But Esme’s adoptive parents are dead (suspiciously so). So who is there to tell us how old she really is?

Even before the movie Orphan, about a grown woman passing herself off as a child in order to infiltrate – and kill off – her new family, there were news reports of women in their 30s pretending to be teenagers in order to receive services from the foster care system. Whether you believe it’s a deliberate con or a mental illness is up to you.

GH Spoilers: Fake It Till You Make It

What if Esme and her beloved daddy cooked up their plan to not only get to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) via Spencer but also chopped over a decade off Esme’s age so she could accidentally meet the young prince at school and worm her way into his life that way?

What if the kid Nik currently has pregnant and locked up at Wyndemere is actually a grown woman? And she has some very adult revenge in mind? It’s almost impossible to come up with an original soap story these days. GH has the opportunity to surprise us all! Think this wild speculation could come true?
