GH Spoilers Weekly Recap
Nina Reeves’s trial began and it’s already taken a shocking turn during Sonny Corinthos’s testimony. The truth about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) donation to the DA came out, stunning everyone including the judge. Willow was immediately put on the stand to be questioned.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) felt the heat when no one could get him out of trouble. The best anyone could do was Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) setting up a rather stark deal. Spencer would have to plead guilty and in exchange, he would only spend 30 days in Spring Ridge (and 500 hours of community service and pay restitution). Spencer did not like that at all.
Speaking of Victor, he had some words of warning for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). His threats didn’t scare her, though. She laughed in his face and gave him a warning of his own.
The General Hospital Week Ahead
GH spoilers remind us that we are in the throes of Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) preliminary hearing. She has a lot riding on the outcome — most importantly her freedom. Willow will take the stand this week, and what she says could make or break the case. When the testimony is read aloud, the tension in the room is palpable.
In an attempt to reconcile with his daughter, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) apologizes to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). She must accept his apology, or at least agree to table the issue because she agrees to babysit while Ned and Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) visit General Hospital for the results of Leo’s Autism evaluation. When the results come in, the tests show he is indeed on the autism spectrum. The doctor tells the couple that Leo will still live a full, fulfilling life.
Could a shakeup be coming to the teen scene? Lately, it feels like Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Joss have been having issues turning up the romance with each other, and they feel more like they’re in the friend zone rather than in love. So when Joss unexpectedly runs into Spencer and then decides to cancel her plans with Cam, it seems a bit too coincidental for us. Did Joss cancel time with Cam because of something Spencer said or did? Or was it really just a coincidence? Tune in to find out!
