This week, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) had to tell Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) he couldn’t find her birth mother — thanks Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). She paid off Denise McKenzie (Alex Reitveld) to lie that Willow’s mom had died years ago. She had to pay even more to get Denise to say that Willow’s birth dad was also dead. Meanwhile, Drew started to connect the dots that perhaps Willow was ill, and she finally admitted that she had stage four leukemia.
Elsewhere, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) wasn’t happy to learn that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was dating Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse), and Spencer took out his anger on Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Alas, Rory wasn’t long for this world as he became The Hook’s latest victim…
Coming up next week, Carly, who remains unaware that Willow is ill, dodges a bullet. Is it a real one or a metaphorical one? That remains to be seen. It is Christmas, after all, and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) has a sentimental gift for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Will it be well-received?
