It’s a week of secrets and lies threatening to ruin lives. Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) homecoming has jaws dropping and heads turning. It also brings up a lot of questions — questions his relatives should think twice about asking. They may not like the answers.
Speaking of villains coming back, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has fun with his return. He taunts Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and drops some hints in front of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that leaves the mob Queen seething.
The more trouble Peter causes, the more Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storm) worries about her daughter. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) hold the little one tight. But there is someone they need to tell their “truth” to and it could rock her foundation of what she knows as true in this world.
Meanwhile, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) spreads bad news, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) hopes for the best though TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) looks sad, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) lurks about, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) issues a warning. General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
Bringing the Drama
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
