It’s hunting season in Port Charles. Rescue missions for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) go all out as the search for ultimate baddie Peter August heats up.
It’ll be quite the battle with private detectives, spies, guns, and everything in between. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) sneak around parts unknown. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) talk to anyone who will listen. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) taps into the power of his mob family. Will all this effort be enough? General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

Bringing the Drama
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air.
